About Deena McNichol
Boulder Professional Organizer

As a clinical social worker and special needs mom, I understand the challenges of day to day life.  It’s messy, complicated and can be overwhelming.  This is why I created One Thing at a Time.

I have spent all of my adult life in the helping profession.  Whether working with individuals in crisis, helping children in foster care or assisting hospice patients and their families come to terms with end of life, I’ve always found purpose and satisfaction in helping people live healthier, calmer lives.

Even at a young age, I was always rearranging and organizing my room, trying to declutter my parents junk drawer, helping my friends go through their closets.  It’s something I have always done, always enjoyed and have now turned my passion into a career.

Today, I pair my unique expertise in assessing needs and strengths, providing compassionate and practical support and setting realistic goals to help my clients experience greater personal and professional satisfaction and fulfillment.

With a natural aptitude and appreciation for order, I look forward to helping those who are ready to take action and who need guidance and support along the way – those who know their approach just isn’t working anymore and who long to find a sustainable system for organizing their world.

One drawer, one shelf, one closet, one thing at a time.
